building practical ai systems
The projects I keep coming back to have the same shape: an LLM is useful, but only when it is wrapped with the right data pipeline, interface, and evaluation loop.
SafeMate, Ready2Interview, and Web-SUMO are different systems, but they all need the same basic discipline. Inputs have to be structured, external tools have to be controlled, and outputs need a way to be checked.
That is the part of applied AI I find most interesting: the model matters, but the system around it decides whether the result is usable.
